KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place Friday morning at the former Marsh's Sun Fresh grocery store in Westport.

Cosentino's, a family-owned grocer based in Kansas City, held a grand reopening after buying the store in August. It is located at Mill Street and Southwest Trafficway in Kansas City, and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Cosentino's said it made several updates to the Sun Fresh store during the summer, including new refrigeration and frozen cases, lighting and rebranded displays. The grocery store said customers should expect to see new products on the shelves.

In the near future, Cosentino's said the Westport location will also open a drive-thru pharmacy.
