ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A woman who allegedly served as a getaway driver to help others steal several cars from a south St. Louis County repair shop last year now faces felony charges.
On Thursday, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Tiara Slinger, 30, of St. Louis County with four counts of stealing a motor vehicle, one count of first-degree tampering, and one count of first-degree property damage.
The charges stem from an overnight car theft scheme on March 19. 2024, at an auto repair shop in the 7500 block of South Lindbergh Boulevard.
According to a St. Louis County Police Department probable cause statement, a group of suspects arrived to the shop in a black Ford Edge. While at the shop, they located several keys and stole four cars.
