Friday was a fall-like day with lows in the 30s and 40s, with scattered light frost in the morning, and highs near 70°. A few clouds moved in during the afternoon as a cold front approached. There is not much moisture associated with the front, but skies will remain cloudy Friday night with a very weak chance for a stray shower. We've had six consecutive months with below average precipitation so could use any rain we get.

So far this year we've had 23 wet weekends and 17 completely dry weekends. The weather this weekend is going to be bright and comfortable as high temperatures rise into the lower to mid-70s. There are several activities happening throughout the state, including the start of the popular Covered Bridge Festival. The Colts are also home on Sunday with a 1 p.m. kickoff. It
