Two people were rushed to hospitals with burn injuries from a fire in Lynn, Massachusetts, on Friday afternoon, officials said.

Both people had life-threatening injuries and were flown to hospitals by medical helicopter — one to Salem Hospital, one to Massachusetts General Hospital, fire officials said.

The fire is believed to have started on the third floor of a building on Cooper Street.
