SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Eighteen Chittenden County seniors will soon be transferred to new housing after their South Burlington residential care home closes.

Gazebo Two, owned by Gazebo Senior Living , will close at the end of the year. Long-term care watchdogs say the company is dealing with expensive building upkeep and repairs.

State regulators say residents will be transferred to their three other homes in South Burlington, Vergennes, and Bradford.

Gazebo Senior Living did not respond to requests for comment.
