Body of another missing soldier recovered in south Kashmir

Srinagar: The body of another missing soldier of the 5 PARA (Special Forces) of the Indian Army was recovered on Friday afternoon in the upper reaches of Kokernag in south Kashmir. The body of one of the two soldiers, who had gone missing after a snowstorm on Monday in the dense Gadol forests of Kokernag, where they were engaged in a search operation, was recovered yesterday. Security forces had intensified the search operation to trace the two soldiers who went missing after a snowstorm on the intervening night of 6-7 October. The bodies of the two soldiers have been found following a massive search and rescue operation launched soon after communication was lost with the two personnel during bad weather conditions in the Ahlan Gadole forest area.
