CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. — Superintendent Dr. Tracolya Green is expected to keep leading Camden County Schools for nearly three more years.
The school district announced Friday that Green's contract was extended, now running through June 30, 2028.
“Dr. Green leads with both vision and heart,” said School Board Chairperson Jonathon Blount. “She is a strong advocate for teachers and students, and a leader who truly listens to her community. The Board is proud to continue this partnership and build on the tremendous progress made under her leadership.”
Dr. Green is leading where she started; the superintendent graduated from Camden County High School in 2001. She was tapped for the role in 2023 after serving as Glynn County Schools' assistant superintendent for grades 6-12.
