MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – Some relief came Friday for construction-weary residents in the Magic City, as the Third Street NE bridge in Minot reopened fully to traffic, following months of repair efforts.

The bridge, which is more than 80 years old, had been closed one way—and then completely—for a series of repairs involving deck joints and spalls, concrete, lighting and more.

In August, Minot’s engineering department said work would take care of existing issues, and following re-inspection, the city would look at other repairs in the near future.
