ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A 19-year-old woman was shot and killed by her boyfriend on Thursday morning, Lawrenceville police said.

Sebastian Prestridge, also 19, faces one count of involuntary manslaughter.

Officers were called to the home on Lauren Kay Court at around 1:20 a.m. The woman’s body was found in an upstairs bedroom, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prestridge, who was still at the home when police arrived, was arrested. He and everyone else inside the home are cooperating with officers as the investigation continues.
