ATLANTA, Texas – The morning of Monday, October 13 starting at 9 a.m., a striping crew is scheduled to add contrast striping to a portion of Interstate 30 westbound east of Summerhill Road at the split, where thru and local lanes are divided.

Contrast striping will consist of a black background with white pavement markings, which will enhance visibility in the area.

TxDOT continues to monitor the traffic control plan in this project and adjust the layout as necessary to improve the safe flow of traffic through the work zone.

During this work, which is scheduled to take place during the day on Monday, traffic will be down to one lane westbound through the I-30 construction zone, as the left-thru lane will be closed.
