It was a pumpkin lovefest Thursday as the Minerva Club held the opening fall meeting of its Garden Group at its historic club house on Boone Street.
A large array of pumpkins, including some high-end exotic types, awaited members who would transform the autumn wonders into fun and impressive centerpieces.
Along with glue guns, dried moss and cuttings of succulents, program chairpersons Lynn DellaCroce and Linda Breeden provided oodles of decorating items. There were artificial fall leaves, seasonal ribbons, and the kinds of things you would find at a craft store.
