ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Georgia teenager has been released from the hospital more than three months after being injured in a boat explosion on Lake Nottely.

The teenager, Isaac, was injured on July 4 when his family’s boat exploded on the lake.

Matthew Miller, Isaac’s father, said he had been piloting the family boat to take about seven family members tubing. On the boat were his three sons, including then-17-year-old Isaac. Miller said Isaac turned 18 in the hospital.
