Proponents of adding 30 megawatts more solar capacity to a large-scale facility in East Windsor said at a Siting Council hearing that large scale solar is one of the best ways to increase our supply of electricity and lower the sky-high electric rates.
The Connecticut Siting Council was created in part to prevent “not in my backyard”, or NIMBY concerns from blocking proposals before town and city land use boards.
