AITKIN COUNTY, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A school bus carrying two students rolled over into a ditch Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, the school bus was traveling Westbound on Highway 47 when it lost control and rolled into the westbound ditch near Little Hanson Lake around 3:00 p.m.

A driver, a paraprofessional, and a student were on board. The district says all three were wearing seatbelts.

The student and paraprofessional on board the bus were brought to Riverwood Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Everyone has been checked out and released from the hospital.

Aitkin Public Schools thanked the quick response and care shown by first responders.
