WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly broke into a home and sexually assaulted a victim last week.

Ali Williams Jr. of Kingstree is charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of criminal sexual conduct, according to the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Williamsburg County deputies responded to a burglary at home in Kingstree on Friday, Oct. 3, the sheriff’s office said.

When they arrived, the victim said they were in the house when Williams broke in and assaulted them. During the attack, the victim attempted to call 911 but Williams allegedly threw the phone across the room.

About nine minutes later Williams left. The victim found their phone called dispatch back. Deputies arrived shortly after.
