The Trans-Canada Highway at Henry Road in Chemainus is closed in both directions on Friday due to a crash, according to DriveBC.

The traffic information agency announced the closure just before 3 p.m., at the time saying one lane in each direction was closed.

Just after 3 p.m., DriveBC updated that the highway was fully closed in both directions.

Pictures shared by DriveBC show a semi truck jack-knifed in the centre of the highway, with emergency vehicles on scene.
