SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A 21-year-old faces several charges for an Upper Haight hit-and-run crash where they allegedly drove into two people riding a scooter then struck a parked car, said the San Francisco Police Department.
SFPD said officers responded to the Oct. 3 incident at 9:50 p.m. at the intersection of Haight and Lyon Streets.
Police said the crash victims were taken to a nearby hospital with one suffering critical injuries and the other with non-life-threatening injuries.
"Preliminary investigation revealed a vehicle collided into a scooter then collided into an unoccupied parked vehicle while attempting to flee from the scene," said San Francisco PD in a news release. "The suspect vehicle was located abandoned near the area of Page Streets and Central Ave."
