WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- A beloved pet cat missing for nearly two weeks has been safely reunited with its owner in West Hollywood.
Six-year-old Floki was apparently taken by a food delivery driver Sept. 27 in an incident captured on surveillance video.
Footage shows the food delivery driver engage with Floki, place the cat in the trunk of a Prius and drive away.
Floki's owner, Emir Uckardes, says he went through emotional turmoil while Floki was missing.
Uckardes was desperate to get the cat back home, and a $1,000 reward was offered for his return.
Fortunately, Uckardes told Eyewitness News that the driver returned the cat to the police station Friday morning after our story aired the night before.
Uckardes assumes the delivery driver made the return after seeing the news
