A woman was arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash in San Francisco, police said.

Authorities report 21-year-old Perla Rosario Henriquez Ulloa was arrested Thursday in connection with an early morning fatal hit-and-run.

Police said they responded to Cortland Avenue and Anderson Street at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Oct. 4 regarding a crash involving a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, authorities report officers found a victim suffering from injuries. The victim was given medical aid, but ended up succumbing to their injuries, according to officials.

It was later determined the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, according to San Francisco police.

The police department states Ulloa was identified as the suspect in the investigation. Ulloa was arreste
