MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - People in Madison’s Dutch Mill Mobile Home Park say they’re fearful after an argument turned deadly Thursday night.

The homicide is just one of several Madison gun violence incidents in the last week.

Though neighbors did not want to talk with WMTV on-camera for safety concerns, some said they were scared to hear what sounded like multiple gun shots through the east side neighborhood.

Madison Police Chief John Patterson said the department shares those concerns. While the city saw an uptick in gun violence this week, he said shots fired incidents have decreased in the city overall this year.
