RICHMOND, Ky. (FOX 56) — Police are searching for an inmate who walked away on Thursday from the Bluegrass Career Development Center in Richmond.
According to a news release, 26-year-old Jeremy D. Ward of Hartford walked away from the Madison County facility around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9.
Police described Ward as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his neck and chest.
He was reportedly last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, camouflage sweatpants, and white shoes.
Ward is known to frequent Owensboro, Hartford, Beaver Dam, and surrounding counties, police said.
According to authorities, he was serving a sentence for drug trafficking and possession charges, burglary, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
