FARGO — Concerns about a proposal to build a convention center in downtown Fargo have delayed the process of picking the winning plan amid a group of four finalists.

The Convention Center Committee decided Friday, Oct. 10, to push back presentations for the four proposals by a week. Question and answer sessions were scheduled for Oct. 17 and 24.

The downtown proposal for the City Hall and Fargo Public Library parking lot, which is scheduled for Oct. 24 with one at Brewhalla, could impact city infrastructure at the site, including parking and sanitation, city staff said. Those presentations won't be moved.

The committee rescheduled the Oct. 17 presenters, which included proposals at Scheels Arena and the Fargodome, for Oct. 31. That will give city staff time to meet with the four final
