CLEVELAND — A $122 million plan to help improve the infrastructure around the proposed Cleveland Browns domed stadium in Brook Park has been put on hold by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency.
During a meeting of NOACA's Planning and Programming Committee on Friday, members opted to send the proposal back to the agency's Transportation Subcommittee, which had previously recommended the plan, to get more answers to several traffic questions. Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, a frequent critic of the Brook Park stadium plan and also the NOACA board president, was among those in favor of tabling the proposal.
