NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Police in North Ridgeville are actively searching for a 67-year-old man who has been missing since this past Wednesday after finding his car abandoned in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

According to a Facebook post from the police department, Michael Conway told his wife he was going to Home Depot shortly before 7 p.m. on Oct. 8, but has not been seen or heard from since. Surveillance cameras purportedly showed his vehicle driving in the area of Columbia and Cook Roads in Olmsted Falls before it was located in the parking lot of the nearby Aloft hotel in North Olmsted around 7:30 p.m.

After Conway was reported missing, officers on Thursday located his car at the Butternut Ridge apartments right next to the Aloft, with his cellphone being found inside
