The reopening of an off-ramp from Route 30 in York County has been delayed by a week.

The off-ramp from westbound Route 30 to Route 462/Hallam was supposed to reopen on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the reopening has been postponed until 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 19.

“The extension is due to inclement weather and the deteriorated condition of the subgrade, which requires additional work,” PennDOT said in a news release.

The detour takes drivers west to exit at Route 24/Mt. Zion Road, then return on eastbound Route 30 to the Route 462/Hallam Exit.

The ramp is being reconstructed as part of the larger, $15 million Route 30 resurfacing project.
