OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Responding to an open letter they received from Sheriff Aaron Hanson earlier this week, four Douglas County commissioners issued a written statement detailing why the proposal will not move forward.
Hanson’s letter was directed at Douglas County Board Chairman Roger Garcia and Vice Chairman Mike Friend . Garcia and Commissioners Chris Rodgers , Jim Cavanaugh , and Brian Fahey signed Friday’s response.
