ATLANTA — A 15-year-old male, who Atlanta Police officers said was involved in 27 vehicle break-ins, is now under arrest.

On Sept. 19, before 4 a.m., a concerned motorist reported two juvenile males breaking into about 27 vehicles in a parking deck at 370 Northside Drive NW.

When officers arrived, they noticed a suspicious vehicle trying to leave from the location and attempted to make a traffic stop.

The vehicle initially refused to pull over, but later stopped on the side of the road, where the drivers attempted to run from the scene, police said.

One of the suspects, a 15-year-old, was immediately caught, and officers found a gun on him, according to APD.
