(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- What was previously looking like a mostly dry weekend could now turn out to be rainy at times. Not a total washout, but as a strong low pressure system moves up the coast, it's now looking like more of the rain will push west and into our area.

Overnight and early Saturday morning is still looking dry, but some scattered showers may start to move in from the east late morning and into the afternoon. Take the umbrella or raincoat if you're going out, just in case.

It's looking like some heavier rain may start to swing in overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, which could make for a wet tailgate ahead of the Panthers-Cowboys game. Maybe bring a tent -- and poncho -- to stay dry!
