LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for central Clark County was issued on Friday afternoon until 4:45 p.m., bringing wind and rainfall to the valley.

Thunderstorms were located southwest of Mountain's Edge with the possibility of 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail.

The warning impacted areas including Henderson, Southern Highlands, Anthem, Enterprise, Mountain’s Edge, Spring Valley, Paradise, Silverado Ranch, Sloan, Seven Hills, and Henderson Executive Airport.

A water rescue effort took place near Paradise Road, leaving some lanes blocked off along Hard Rock Road shortly before 5 p.m., according to the RTC of Southern Nevada.

Flooding along roadways in the east valley was spotted throughout the afternoon, including Boulder Highway and Lake Mead shortly before 5:30
