A man was convicted after allegedly lighting up several vehicles in San Francisco, the DA's office said Friday.

The DA's office report 63-year-old Armando Salvador was convicted of eight counts of arson of another's property and two counts of unlawfully causing a fire.

According to authorities, evidence showed at trial revealed Salvador lit a Cadillac Escalade on fire in the area of Campton Place at 6 a.m. on Feb. 18, 2024. Salvador then set fire to five additional vehicles located on Geary Street and O'Farrell Street, officials said.

The DA's office states Salvador also set fire to two Tesla Model Ys at the intersection of Mabini and Bonifacio streets and the intersection of Shipley and Fourth streets on Feb. 24.
