GLEN DANIEL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Class AAA Shady Spring Tigers picked up a solid road victory Friday night, defeating the Class AA Liberty Raiders 40-20.

The Tigers’ offense found its rhythm early and maintained control throughout the game, earning their second win of the season and improving to 2-5 overall.

Shady Spring’s defense also stepped up in key moments, keeping the Raiders from mounting a comeback.

Liberty, now 2-5, showed flashes of momentum but couldn’t keep pace with Shady Spring.

The Tigers will look to build on the win when they host the Winfield Generals in their next matchup, while the Raiders will travel to Hico to face the Midland Trail Patriots.
