STEPHENS COUNTY, Ga. (FOX Carolina) - The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office reports arresting a suspect wanted out of the Upstate after a traffic stop on Thursday.

Deputies said they determined that a fugitive out of South Carolina, 30-year-old Cody Price, had been staying at a residence on Celtic Drive with other wanted fugitives. He was wanted by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and Oconee County Sheriff’s Office on multiple felony warrants and had been on the run for three years.

Deputies report conducting a traffic stop around 1:45 p.m. on a GMC commercial truck on Swilling Road in Eastanollee with Price inside. He gave a fake name and date of birth before attempting to flee on foot.
