ASHVILLE, OH — It was a big night for school spirit and friendly competition as the Teays Valley High School Freshmen took home the championship title in the school’s first-ever Powder Puff football tournament , defeating the Seniors in the final matchup 22–14 .

The event, held on October 8, 2025 , followed the annual Homecoming Parade and brought students, families, and community members together for an evening of fun and Viking pride at Viking Stadium .

This year’s homecoming festival featured food trucks, student performances, and speeches from the Pumpkin Show Queen candidates . The Powder Puff tournament — a highlight of the festivities — included three games: Juniors vs. Seniors , Freshmen vs. Sophomores , and the final showdown between the two winning teams.
