FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A Friday night high school football game was called to a close early after a medical helicopter took a player off the field.

The game was at North Central High School in Farmersburg. The Thunderbirds were playing South Spencer High School, which is located near Evansville.

According to officials in Farmersburg, the game was called late into the 3rd quarter due to the severity of a South Spencer player's injuries, although those exact injuries are unknown at this time.
