GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Newly released video shows Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies making an arrest in Gainesville on Thursday night.
Deputies say the situation was resolved peacefully after they responded to a domestic disturbance call near Haile Plantation.
They say 63-year-old Marshall Durocher became agitated after an argument and grabbed a shotgun.
Durocher is a convicted felon and is legally prohibited from owning a firearm.
After initially refusing to comply, deputies convinced Durocher to surrender his gun, and he was taken into custody.
