WACO, Texas — A single-car crash has led to the death of one person Friday night, according to the Waco Police Department.

Police say officers were called to 17th St. and Waco Drive at 7:55 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found and took the male victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died because of his injuries. The victim was the driver and he was alone.

Waco PD has not released the identity of the person at this time.
