Isaiah Blanks starred on both sides of the ball for Hoboken in its 24-0 win over Newark Central in Newark.
In the second quarter, Blanks recorded a 95-yard fumble return for a touchdown and threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Jae’on Walker to give Hoboken a 12-0 lead at halftime.
Devin McMillan ran for touchdowns of two and three yards, respectively, in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
This is Hoboken’s first 7-0 start since 2006. Newark Central dropped to 4-3.
