Quarterback Jake Manion’s pinpoint passing led Triton to a 21-7 win over Highland in Runnemede.
Manion was near perfect in the win completing 13-of-14 passes en route to 181 yards through the air.
Manion also scored Triton’s first touchdown of the night, finding the end zone on a two-yard run in the second quarter.
Highland’s Jamere Roberts answered back with a 58-yard rushing touchdown to tie it 7-7, but Triton took the lead back before halftime as Jon Pettigrew made it 14-7 on a run from nine yards out.
Triton held on to its lead through the second half. Connor McBride made it a two-score game in the fourth quarter when he hauled in a Braydon Lewis pass from a 23-yard touchdown to secure the 21-7 victory.
