CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Cleveland Rams broke open a tight game in the second half to take down the Garner Trojans 49-28 on Friday night at Jacobs Stadium.
The Rams (7-0) remained unbeaten but were tied 7-7 at halftime. Garner (5-2) struck first, but Cleveland answered.
The second half was all Rams, who outscored the Trojans 42-21 in that span.
"I think the offensive line deserves a lot of credit for that, they played great," said Cleveland High head coach Scott Riley. "Running backs, quarterback played great ... they took a lot of pride ... we were determined to be able to run the football."
