SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - It’s shaping up to be a great weekend to get outdoors, and this one’s for the art lovers.
The 30th annual Art in the Park is this weekend at Sequiota Park in Springfield.
The event is Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Shelly Baxter, event coordinator, says 39 different artists are participating this year.
“We have artists that are, you know, young, just starting out. Then we have artists that have been doing this longer than most kids have been alive," said Baxter. “It’s a real nice variety and it’s a chance to see some amazing things."
There’s no cost to attend, and it’s dog and kid-friendly. For more information on Art in the Park, click here .
