WALLER, Texas (KBTX) — An online hemp retailer is challenging several law enforcement agencies after seizing what they called “illegal THC products” in Waller, claiming the confiscated goods were actually legal hemp products worth upwards of $100,000.

Zour Stash , the online company whose products were seized, maintains its merchandise met federal and state legal standards for hemp. Federal and state law define hemp as any part of cannabis containing no more than 0.3% of delta-9 THC.
The Austin County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) posted about the seizure on Facebook, stating that because the packages were vacuum sealed, it indicated Zour Stash was attempting to hide the smell of narcotics from law enforcement K-9s.
