Riverside County sheriff’s detectives Friday asked the public for help identifying the person or people responsible for fatally shooting a 16-year-old boy in Wildomar.
Naythan Vasquez of Menifee was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 10:28 p.m. May 9 on the 21000 block of Waite Street, said sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Kelleher.
Vasquez was taken to a hospital by ambulance and died from his wounds, Kelleher said. Another teenage boy suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was also hospitalized.
No arrests have been made, the sergeant said.
Anyone with information on the shooting was urged to call Central Homicide Investigator Gonzalez at 951-955-2777 or Lake Elsinore Station Investigator Contreras at 951-245-3300.
