Three males 16 to 18 years old were wounded in a gang-related shooting in Sun Valley Friday.

The shooting occurred at 5:37 p.m. Friday on the 11000 block of Arminta Street, near Vineland Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.

The victims were walking down the street when they were approached by another male on foot, Madison said.

The victims and suspect “got into an argument about their gang affiliation,” the officer said. The suspect shot them and fled in a vehicle.

Paramedics took the victims to a hospital where they were undergoing treatment for wounds not believed life-threatening, Madison said.
