VERNDALE — Hollister Heinz scored two first-quarter touchdowns for the Verndale Pirates as they lost 36-34 to the Sebeka Trojans Friday, Oct. 10.

Verndale’s Owen Weiher threw a 46-yard touchdown pass to Joe Elfstrum and added a 61-yard rushing touchdown. Lincoln Finck rounded out the scoring for Verndale with a 1-yard touchdown run.
