At least one municipality located within the Seneca Valley School district is raising the alarm about the district’s proposed construction project for the intermediate high school.
Callery Borough Council voted during their meeting on Monday, Oct. 6, to send a letter to the school district expressing concern about the potential financial implications of the district’s proposed $165 million renovation, which would include the construction of a new performing arts center and a three-story structure with 39 classrooms.
The letter, which calls for the school board to table the project, was attributed to council president Rose Marie Wirtz and addressed directly to Eric DiTullio, president of the school board.
