The University of Missouri Golden Girls dance team is mourning the death of alumna Josie Woodward.

In a Facebook post on Friday, the team remembered Woodward, 24, for her positive personality.

"With the brightest smile, most positive attitude, and greatest passion for dance and all things Mizzou, her legacy will forever be cherished," the Golden Girls team said in the post.

Woodward graduated from the University of Missouri's Sinclair School of Nursing in May 2023 , according to an article from the college.
