Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has sharply criticized the government for allowing the Taliban to exclude women journalists from a press conference held in New Delhi on Saturday.
She demanded clarification from PM Modi on why female journalists were barred from attending the event, which featured a Taliban representative.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, please clarify your position on the removal of female journalists from the press conference of the representative of the Taliban on his visit to India,” Priyanka Gandhi said in a post on X.
The exclusion of women journalists from the event has sparked widespread outrage, with many condemning the Taliban’s discriminatory policies towards women.
