Reliever Kyle Finnegan and Tyler Holton had a hand in immediately giving up the 2-1 lead in the seventh inning, and that eventually sent the game to extra innings, a lot of extra innings, where the Mariners eventually won it in the 15th inning as Jorge Polanco singled off Tommy Kahnle with the bases loaded, playing hero for a town that’s been waiting decades for one.
