Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday inaugurated the 2nd edition of the Kashmir Literature Festival, emphasizing the role of writers in shaping informed perspectives and fostering a deeper understanding of culture, nature, and human well-being.
Highlighting the importance of offering new ideas in a rapidly changing world, the LG said literature must reflect both the challenges and opportunities of the present era.
“Writers must do research and use critical proof to challenge and correct misleading historical accounts. During the colonial era and subsequently, some writers distorted our history to suit their ideological agenda.
