Gregg Wallace suing the BBC for 'distress and harassment' following MasterChef axe View Image

Gregg Wallace is seeking to claim up to £10,000 in damages from the BBC and one of its subsidiaries, following his axe from MasterChef earlier this year.

The former TV presenter has alleged the corporation caused him "distress and harassment" by failing to disclose to him his personal data.

After being sacked in July, Wallace is now suing the BBC and BBC Studios Distribution Limited.

In November last year, it was announced that Wallace would step away from his role on the BBC cooking show while historical allegations of misconduct were investigated.
